Supawood access panels allowing for a neater finish!

Supawood panel systems allow for concealed access to services and provide a neater, more efficient solution than conventional plasterboard surfaces.
In ceilings Supawood concealed access panels can be used to provide access for air-conditioning, electrical or smoke-detection connections. In walls they can conceal doors to address telecommunication control systems, fire-hose reels, electrical switchboards or storage areas.
All Supawood panels systems are demountable but entire ceilings can be more easily accessed with 'lift & shift' or rebated 'drop in tile' type systems. And single access panels or doors can be totally integrated to look like adjacent wall or ceiling panels, with finger hole latches, push catches or concealed handles.

Designing an outdoor entertainment area? Problems with noisy street-scapes?

Stringent non-smoking laws have led the hospitality industry to re-think their environments. This has seen the development of outdoor entertainment areas such as terraces, pools & alfresco dining. In addition, the need for protection from inclement weather has led to the use of Supawood wet-sealed panels as entry statements in public buildings.

Supawoods new wet-sealed panels ensure sound absorbency in undercover external environments such as soffits, porte cochéres or canopies. The panels themselves are fully sealed and able to resist moisture, humidity, condensation or temperature extremes wherever indirect exposure to ambient conditions occur.

Pre-curved or curvable, pre-finished ceiling and wall panels from Supawood are designed for ease of installation in a minimum of time on site. Concave, convex or S-curves are all options available, limited only by your imagination! Supplied with a 'lift & clip' system, these panels are compatible with all standard suspended ceiling or partition systems. They can also be supplied perforated or slotted for acoustic purposes, and are availble in a wide range of surface finishes.

Floating Ceiling Panels

Supawood floating ceiling panels give all the design benefits of a panel system but at a lower cost.

  • Suspend Supawood floating panels to help reduce the apparent height of the room - black out the ceiling above or frame the floating panel with plasterboard to make a feature of the panel.
  • Define an area by using a floating panel such as above a stairway or above a reception, breakout or discussion area - and help absorb sound by using a Supacoustic floating panel.
  • Lighting or services can be incorporated within the floating panel or located between panels.

Supawood floating ceiling panels are cost effective not only because less panels are used over the ceiling but reduce manufacture and installation cost through the use of standard sized panels. The elimination of the need for site measurements or the cutting & alignment of panels improves the efficiency of delivery and installation.
