Lightweight MAXI Beam With Integrated Lighting Create Dynamic Effect in Restaurant Bar
Posted By: Colin Beattie | CEO 6th, April 2018
The Namaste Lounge (formally the historic Northwood Hills Pub) has recently been transformed into a sophisticated bar and modern Indian restaurant. Both MAXI BEAM and SUPASLAT slatted panels on the ceilings have been used in the venue’s new stylish and chic interior.
In the bar area, a MAXI BEAM feature runs at a slight angle up the wall and continues across the ceiling above the front of the bar. The beams have been integrated with strip lighting between them to create a mood lighting effect. To further enrich the atmosphere, the colour of the lighting can be changed and is coordinated with the backlit fronts on the bars. On the ends of the ceiling feature the beams have been staggered. Custom length beams were supplied to fit exactly to the design.
The panels in the restaurant cover the entire ceiling and are fixed directly to the existing ceiling with IAT above them to help address acoustics. Custom size slatted panels were supplied to fit in around the edge of the ceiling.
Project: Namaste Lounge Bar and Restaurant refurbishment.
