“The Supawood product has been used as a centerpiece architectural solution to the Science Building atrium by dbARCH. Supawood were efficient in the job of supply and delivery to the site and it was a relief to find it so simple to put together. I was assured when I found the skeleton framework so well-engineered, giving me peace of mind that the decorative weighted ceiling panel was safe to use.”

Working together with the architect, DB Architects, SUPAWOOD were able to transform a complex dream into a reality. This incredible three-dimensional ceiling and wall project was created using standard flat panels, specifically engineered and designed to give a pyramid look across the raked ceiling of the space.
The project itself, is a new education learning centre, for Redlynch State College, Redlynch QLD, and uses the SUPACOUSTIC SP1/80 panels finished in SUPAFINISH Blackbutt for ceilings, and both SUPACOUSTIC SP1/80 and custom slot patterns as flat panels for the walls. The wall panels have been matched to the ceiling and are also finished in the cost-saving concept veneer – SUPAFINISH – in the colour Blackbutt.
Further to transforming the architect’s aesthetic dreams to reality, the completed project is provided as an ‘easy-to-install’ system, including framing to aid the install of the complex three-dimensional ceiling panels.
Completed in December 2020, this fantastic education project has helped to enhance the entire school experience for the students, creating a facility that is truly multi-purpose, highly practical, and an aesthetic space that the students are drawn into.
