MAXI BEAM lightweight timber beam system assists designers all over the world to achieve the elegance of natural wood without the challenges of working with solid timber.
As opposed to the traditional solid timber beams, MAXI BEAMS have a honeycomb or hollow core in their wood timber beams whilst still maintaining the ‘chunky’ natural look.
MAXI BEAM weighs only around 3kg/Lm for a 200mm deep beam. These light timber beams relieve the support structure of extra load and means you don’t need specially engineered framing. Additionally, this reduces the installation time on site with fixing centres up to 2400mm.
The MAXI BEAM comes in a wide range of shapes and sizes. Beams are available at 50mm wide, and in standard depths of 145mm,170mm, 195mm, and 295mm. Numerous customisation options are available upon request, including tailor-made shaping, integrated lighting, additional finish choices, extra-large beam sizes, longer unsupported spans, and Fire Group 2 rated options.
