Supawood Revit Library

SUPAWOOD is rolling out a library of Revit content created by experts for designers to ensure they meet the same high standards of quality you expect from our products.

Revit content currently available from SUPAWOOD:

MATERIAL LIBRARY
The Revit Materials and Texture Library includes all of SUPAWOOD’s proprietary SUPAFINISH finishes to enable accurate rendering of material and can be used with both the SUPACOUSTIC PLK family and any other models you develop yourself.

SUPACOUSTIC CEILINGS
This compound ceiling element, which is designed to be light on resources, enables quick switching between the various options within Supawood’s range.

SUPASLAT & SUPATILE SLAT CEILINGS
This is a basic roof element Family, which is designed to be light on resources, enables quick switching between the 5 standard slat configuration options within Supawood’s range.
Models the depth of the physical shape of the slats to facilitate rendering

SUPATILE 3D DRAWINGS
This is a collection of drawings for our SUPATILE 3D ceiling tiles. These are in PDF and DWG format. This is not a Rivet family but the DWG files are 3D Autocad files which can be imported into a Revit model.

Installing the Supawood Revit Materials Library

Below are some instructions for copying the Revit materials library to a Revit users PC.

Installing the Supawood Revit Materials Library

Download and extract the Supawood Revit Materials and Textures to the following locations.

  1. Copy the Supawood Material Library (Supawood Acoustic Panels.adsklib) to (C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials\<Revit Version>\)
  2. Copy the Supawood Tex8iu76tures to (C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials\Textures\Supawood\)

Loading the Supawood Materials Library in Revit
1. Click on the 'manage' tab,  click on 'materials' 
2. Click on the 'open material library' icon  , select 'open existing library' 

3. Browse to the directory where the Supawood Revit Materials are installed (C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Autodesk Shared\Materials\<Revit Version>\Supawood Acoustic Panels.adsklib) and click 'open', click 'ok'
