Mixed & matched products meet crucial BCA regulations for club eateries

SUPAWOOD product feature throughout the redevelopment of Norths Leagues and Services Club in Kallangur QLD.

The new areas are called The Precinct, and provides the club with comfortable lounge and dining spaces serviced by a variety of eatery choices. Warm and earthy tones are the key design statement in these spaces complimented by the use of slatted ceiling features to aesthetically define areas. To address noise reverberation in more open spaces, slotted acoustic panels have been used.

This mix of products not only achieves the design intent but enhances other design elements. By choosing SUPAWOOD products the designers were given a broad choice of finishes and products which could be mixed and matched while meeting crucial BCA regulations for this type of project.

Products/Finishes:

Lawnside room - SUPACOUSTIC slotted 12mm in SUPAFINISH White over the main expanse of the ceiling. A ceiling feature of SUPASLAT Profile 2 in SUPAFINISH Tasmanian Oak set in return has been used to define a booth seating area.

The Servery - SUPASLAT Profile 2 in SUPAFINISH Tasmanian Oak ceiling feature set at a different level to the main ceiling defines the area of the servery.

The Bristo – A ceiling feature in SUPASLAT Profile 2 in SUPACOLOUR Dulux Bakos Blue low sheen set in a return defines the central dining area.

Lounge and The Jungle kids’ room – MAXI BEAM 95 x 50 beams ceiling and feature screen (not featured in photos).
