Creative SUPATILE enhances fun café theme.
SUPATILE premium, fully accessible ceiling panel system has proved to be the perfect choice for an innovative project where creative license needed to be used to its fullest.
Using one of the SUPATILE more decorative options for the ceiling, a new café in Brisbane’s popular South Bank precinct is an excellent example of how this superior SUPAWOOD product can be used to maximize design originality.
The focus for this innovative café is fun, kids and play! The café has been specially designed for mums or care takers with young children and presents a secure and child friendly atmosphere where they can meet, eat, relax and play. The SUPATILE “Bubble” graphic pattern was chosen to compliment the delightful spotted dinosaur theme, the wall graphics and other fun features. This is SUPATILE used inspiringly at its best to enhanced and blend with an overall design and created a coherent mood.
The designers’ brief also required them to consider all facets needed to create a safe and welcoming environment. With this in mind, noise reduction was a key issue when deciding on the products to use. As SUPATILE is effective acoustically and is also available in a range of graphic designs the product more than met the desired criteria.
By selecting SUPATILE the designers were also able to successfully conceal access to services such as electrical connections and air conditioning in the ceiling cavity, plus they were able to incorporate installation of utilities such as lights, exit signs and other fixtures effortlessly meaning lower project costs. The panels are also easy to clean, easy to remove and replace and extremely durable.
While addressing functionality, noise reduction and economic installation, the choice of SUPATILE for this café fitout achieved the aesthetics to compliment the overall theme perfectly.
